  • Competitive salary (between €4 522 and €6 248 pm – based on your experience and skills;  a 13th month and holiday allowance)

Job Highlights

 

As a Financial Controller, you’ll dive into the numbers, but you won’t be doing it alone or in a silo. You’ll work closely with our Shared Services Center in India, internal stakeholders, and your senior controller colleague to keep our financials sharp, clean, and audit-ready. Your insights and suggestions won’t just be welcomed, they’ll be expected.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and document monthly balance-sheet reconciliations in accordance with IFRS and Dutch GAAP.
  • Identify and resolve reconciliations discrepancies promptly.
  • Manage and adjust cost-center allocations accurately.
  • Provide subject-matter guidance to our Shared Services Center (India) on accounting queries.
  • Ensure timely CBS reporting and submission.
  • Process manual payments and corrections, maintaining full audit trails.
  • Support internal and external audits with complete, well-organized documentation.

 

Requirements

 

You thrive in a collaborative, hands-on environment and know how to make sense of complex numbers. You're not afraid to challenge the status quo and propose smarter, cleaner ways to work.

 

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • IFRS & Dutch GAAP expertise (deep, hands-on application in a corporate environment).
  • SAP experience (ECC or S/4HANA—must have configured or executed controlling processes).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent.
  • 3–5 years’ proven experience in financial controlling or similar role.
  • Fluent in English (Dutch is an advantage).

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience with Continuous Improvement tools (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen).
  • Prior work in a manufacturing or chemicals environment.
