Job Highlights

 

  • Responsible for Business Unit Rhein Chemie sales in North West Europe
  • Develop sales strategies aligned with company’s objectives to meet revenue targets
  • Lead and manage an experienced sales team providing guidance and fostering collaboration with internal departments
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders
  • Support the team in further developing existing projects as well as identifying new opportunities in the North West European region   
  • Recruit, train and mentor sales professionals to ensure peak performance
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer feedback to adjust the sales strategy accordingly and to report relevant market information to the organization
  • Participate in new product developing aligned with market needs and explore new applications for existing products
  • Travel as needed to meet with key customers, attend industry events and support business development in the sub-region

Requirements

 

  • Successfully completed technical or scientific studies, preferably in the rubber industry or comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in sales in the chemical industry, ideally in the rubber sector
  • Leadership skills with proven track record of successfully driving sales growth, achieving targets and expanding market share
  • Proven track record in managing Global Key Accounts
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Experience in negotiating global, complex and multi-year agreements
  • Strategic thinker to develop and implement sales strategies adapted to Key Accounts and the sub-region needs
  • A good understanding of the Rubber industry including knowledge of products, manufacturing processes, market trends, regulatory requirements and competitor landscape is an advantage
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally up to 40% of the time
  • Business fluent in written and spoken German and English
